Baby Class...

or that is at least what my hubby and I call it. So last night was our first class. We have it every Tuesday for 6 weeks, it is a combo class that entails; childbirth preperation, breastfeeding, and newborn are. It was fun meeting all kinds of couples expecting around the same time that we are. We also learned a lot.

My least favorite part: When the instructor showed us a female pelvis and then proceeded to show us with a plastic baby how it makes his/her way through. The plastic baby was evidently the size of a typical newborn, but it's head clearly barely fit through the pelvis. I'm hoping that baby was on the large side. So where before I was not that nervous about labor, now I am freaked out.

Favorite part: Relaxation exercises. We got to sit between the legs of our coaches and practice breathing exercises. We listened to relaxing music and I literally could have fell asleep.

And totally off the baby class subject we also had our 28 week appointment yesterday (my appointments are a bit off since in 1 day I will be 29 weeks). I passed my glucose test from last week and everything else looked good also. So that was good to hear! Next appointment is in 2 weeks, can't believe I am already at every 2 weeks appointments.

I'm excited about our baby classes as well. The other night I was watching some home births online, and I did get kind of freaked out by seeing that baby come out, too. We just have to tell ourselves that it will be ok!

Glad you passed your test! Also glad you told me about the baby head/pelvis...more reason to reconsider children. JK!
