2 Down, 1 To Go!

In celebration of the start of my 3rd trimester I bought this piggy bank for our little one's room. Who am I kidding, I don't need a reason to shop!

(This is just the example shown on the website, I am getting her name on it rather than a monogram.)

In case your interested I got this off Etsy at TemperTantrum I'm so excited to get the finished product in a few weeks!

Look at this precious face.........

This is from our 16 week 4D ultrasound. I can't wait till we have our other 4D ultrasound. This was the first time I could really visualize our baby and also when we found out we were having a girl. It was certainly love at first sight!

Long Overdue Bump Update: 26 Weeks

How far along today? 26 Weeks 5 Days

Total weight gain/loss: Since my last update (21 weeks) I have gained 14 pounds! If you remember I was at 0 pounds gained at 21 weeks. At that point I had hit the mark of my pre-pregnancy weight after losing so much with morning sickness. I was so surprised when I stepped on the scale this morning. I am pretty sure that this is not good at all. I have a doctor's appointment today. I'm scared they are gonna yell at me. Eek!

Maternity clothes? You betcha! Other than comfy clothes and some of my pre-pregnancy shirts I am full force wearing maternity clothes.

Stretch marks? Still doing the Palmer's everyday and the oil at night. I am so freaked out that now that I am gaining weight so fast they are going to start. Is it vain to pray for no stretch marks? Lol!

Sleep: Still loving my Boppy pillow as it helps me get as much sleep as possible with my ever shrinking bladder. I am getting up about 1-2 times per night to pee. Little Miss sometimes makes it hard for me to fall asleep when she is digging her limbs in my ribs or hips. But once I fall asleep she must also so that I am thankful for.

Movement: All the time and I love every second of it! Okay maybe that is a lie, I don't care for it much when I am trying to fall asleep. She is a little gymnast/karate kid that is for sure.

Food cravings: Sweets! Which probably can explain the weight gain. I need to get some willpower!

Gender: Princess

Labor Signs: Again, none, and so thankful for that!

Belly Button in or out? It officially popped well half of it anyway at 25 weeks.

Weekly Wisdom: Don't always give in to your cravings, or else you will put on weight at a insane pace. I will let you all know how that goes!

Milestones: Finally deciding on our baby girl's name! Sorry I've decided to hold out awhile on the reveal, I doubt I'll wait till her birth, but who knows. :)

What I'm Looking Forward To: To get the ball rolling again on getting the nursery ready. With vacation and such we are at standstill right now. The primer is at least up, now I just need to get my hubby to paint the rest.

26 Weeks:

Holy! Check out the change in 5 weeks!

Recap of our long weekend

Ryan and I left Thursday evening after work to head to the lake. I typically work Fridays from home since I do a flex schedule and my day ends at 11:30 am.

On Friday morning I worked from the condo while Ryan did some errands and got the boat ready for the weekend. In the afternoon 2 of our 4 guests arrived and we set out on a boat ride. We took a long ride on the calm part of the lake and just took in all the sights. We stopped at Captain Ron's for a dinner that was so delish and then headed back to the condo where we met up with our other 2 guests we were expecting. The night consisted of hanging around the condo and chatting.

On Saturday we all woke up and lounged around the condo till about 11. Then we set out on the boat. We took a short drive (the water was choppier than on Friday) ate lunch at Gator's and then met up with friends in a cove to swim and mingle. Most weekends we are at the lake we don't take long drives on the boat since I am preggo. My doctor assures us that it is okay to ride in a boat, just no water sports (tubing, skiing, jet skis etc). I still get nervous if it gets too rough so we just take it easy and ride the calmer areas of the lake and cove out and swim with friends. Totally worth it to me for the peace of mind.

On Sunday we all woke up a little later and set out on the boat again. We didn't make it too far till I determined a boat ride was not going to happen today. It was too rough to ride for my liking. We then spent the rest of the day anchored and tied up to a boat with some friends we have down at the lake. We enjoyed snacks from the boat and dinner from a dock restaurant within short swimming distance. I was spoiled and my hubby pulled me there on a raft. We watched the condo's display of firework from the boat and then headed in for the night. I think that was the longest I have ever been in a boat. We wrapped up the evening on the deck telling stories and chatting.

Monday we woke up and us girls picked up the condo and the boys cleaned the boat. After we made it back home from the lake we unpacked and headed to dinner with Ryan's family to celebrate his sister's graduation from grad school.

All in all in was a fun and relaxing 4th of July weekend. Hope the rest of you had fun and were able to relax some. :)

Now the countdown to vacation is on. 3 days of work left!!!
